Actor STR had a strong comeback through the movie ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, which was released last year. The film got acclaimed for a fabulous star-cast, but STR fans were slightly disappointed over the tragic climax, where he is shot dead. Now it looks like, there could be a similar situation in his upcoming film, a remake of super hit Kannada movie ‘Mufti’. In the original version, the role of STR is played by Shivarajkumar, who gets assassinated by an undercover cop, who joins his goon team.
While the Kannada audiences had accepted it, we need to wait and watch if there would similar impact here. The coincidence is that he gets shot in a similar way by Gautham Karthik, who just like Vijay Sethupathi in CCV cheats and shoots him finally.
