After Tamilisai Soundararajan was appointed Telangana Governor, the post of Tamilnadu BJP president remains vacant. Nainar Nagendran and former Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan are reportedly top runners for the post, sources say.
At the same time, names of Vaanathi Srinivasan and KT Raghavan are also coming up. 'Earlier, elections for the post of party president was scheduled during mid December, but now the situation is such that the party needs a president to take over the poll works,' said BJP state treasurer SR Sekar.
Sources say that a new name will be announced very soon. There are also hope that H Raja would be named as TN BJP chief.
