Director duo Pushkar-Gayathri is rumoured to direct Ajith in his 61st film. An official announcement on the project is likely to be made by later this year. Their last venture Vikram Vedha starring Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi was a blockbuster. Pushkar and Gayathri are roped in as creator producers for Aley, a neo-realistic comedy starring Samuthirakani and Manikandan.
It would be directed by Samitha Haleem. Meanwhile Ajith has almost completed the shoot for Ner Konda Paarvai, a remake of Hindi super hit Pink. It is produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H Vinodh of Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame.
