Wait and see, says Stalin about no-confidence motion

DMK president MK Stalin on Tuesday said that his party will take a decision on whether to bring a no-confidence motion against AIADMK led government in the state after the announcement of dates for the assembly session.

Speaking to reporters, he said, "You are going to watch what we are going to do. Till now, the date of the assembly session in Tamil Nadu is not announced, after that announcement, we will take a decision." "Wait and see," said the DMK president, who is riding high on his party's recent electoral success.

The 13 DMK MLAs who won in the recent by-elections took oath as legislators at the Assembly-Secretariat on Tuesday in the presence of Stalin. Speaker P Dhanapal administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to the MLAs. In April this year, the DMK threatened to move a motion of no confidence against the Speaker if the Chair accepted the recommendation by Government Chief Whip S Rajendran to initiate action against three dissident AIADMK MLAs.
