Following summons to actor Vijay and film financier Anbu Chezhiyan, auditors of both parties appeared before Income Tax last evening and gave an explanation on the alleged tax evasion case.This morning, Archana Kalpathi, CEO of AGS Cinemas and creative producer of Bigil came to the Income Tax head office at Nungambakkam for an inquiry.The auditors of Vijay and Anbu Chezhiyan clarified the queries by the I-T sleuths. It is said that Anbu Chezhiyan’'s auditor agreed to pay fine in case of lapse in tax payment.It may be noted that, the I-T department issued summons to Vijay, AGS group chief Kalpathi S Aghoram and Anbu Chezhiyan for an inquiry into the funds and profits linked to the Bigil.
