Vijayakanth and his last minute campaign

DMDK chief Vijayakanth campaigned for the candidates of the AIADMK-led alliance, Monday. Seated in his campaign van, the yesteryear actor sought votes for his party candidate Azhagapuram R Mohanraj and Sam Paul (PMK) contesting from North and Central Chennai Lok Sabha seats respectively.

Vijayakanth made brief remarks and asked the people to vote for the drum symbol of his party and the mango symbol of the PMK. He also asked public not to vote for Stalin. Earlier, general public and party cadres turned up in large numbers at Villivakkam bus terminus, to see Vijayakanth. The DMDK leader also campaigned in North Chennai, covering Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Royapuram and Thiruottiyur and finished the campaign at MGR Nagar Market that comes under South Chennai constituency.
