Vijay Sethupathi was honoured as the Best Actor for his outstanding performance in Super Deluxe at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, where he shared the moment with Shahrukh Khan and indeed got acclaims from him. During the juncture, he revealed that he would be soon working with a superstar from Bollywood. Now it looks like the project is all about Vijay Sethupathi and Aamir Khan sharing the screen space together for a film. Both of them have been involved in talks over the past few months.
If everything goes well as planned, both of them will start shooting for this Pan-Indian movie from next year. Vijay Sethupathi has also confirmed that it is not a remake of Vikram Vedha, but will be a fresh script. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan will reprise the role of Vijay Sethupathi and Saif Ali Khan as Madhavan in Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha, which is directed by Pushkar-Gayathri.
