Following Gautham Vasudev Menon, Venkat Prabhu will be embarking on his journey into OTT platform through a web series on Hotstar. While there have been lots of speculations on what the genre could be, it is now said that it would be a Horror-Thriller with 8 Episodes. It is also said that the web series will have an open ending and it will have Season 2 based on the response to the first so far.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu will start shooting for STR’s Maanadu from this weekend. The film stars Arvind Swami in negative role and has lots of prominent artistes. Kalyani Priyadarshan is playing the female lead and Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music.
