MDMK general secretary Vaiko today filed nimination for Rajys Sabha elections. He is contesting on behalf of DMK as per pre poll agreeent during Lok Sabha elections.After calling on DMK president MK Stalin, Vaiko, 'If he gets a chance to serve as Rajya Sabha MP, he will raise his voice for Tamilnadus wellfare. He said that he will dedicate his services for people of Tamilnadu.
Remember yesterday Vaiko was sentenced to a year in jail by a Chennai court which had convicted him for sedition. The court also stayed the execution of the sentence for a month on his application.Vaiko was held guilty of sedition over his comments in 2009 at the launch of his book.
