The Election Commission has announced allocating ‘Gift Pack’ symbol to AMMK’s candidates contesting in the bypoll to four assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.
The EC had earlier alloted 'Gift Pack' as the common symbol for all the 59 candidates put up by AMMK in the recently concluded parliamentary elections and by-polls for 18 Assembly seats. The ECI order came close on the heels of the application from TTV seeking registration of AMMK as a registered party. The EC upon the Supreme Court order had allotted a common symbol (gift pack) for all his candidates in the April 18 elections for Lok Sabha and the by-elections to 18 vacant seats in the Assembly.
