Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said three new law colleges will be constructed in the State at a cost of Rs 9.52 crore. Making the announcement under the Rule 110 in the Assembly, he said to begin work at the earliest a special officer will be appointed to oversee each college. 'To give more space to the sub courts functioning at the High Court premises a mulitsory building will be constructed at a cost of Rs 202.40 crore,' he said.
He further said the roads and bridges that were damaged during the Cyclone Gaja will be repaired at a cost of Rs 200.53 crore. 'Apart from this 1,200 crore will be alloted this year to upgrade panchayat roads,' he said.
