TN govt's new scheme: Specialgrievance redressal programme

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said launched a special grievance redressal programme. Under the programme all Ministers and officials will meet members of the public directly, receive petitions from them and they would be addressed  at the earliest. An official teams has been formed for the purpose. They will meet the people on a regular basis.

The programme will be implemented across the State. It is said that people can give their complaint in the form of a petition. Action would be initiated immediately. 'Under the scheme, based on orders by District Collectors, a panel comprising officials from various departments would collect petitions from people across the State. These will be stored in a computer, forwarded to respective departments in a week and issues will be resolved in a month, a pre release said.
