TN gives Rs 10 crore to cyclone Fani hit Odisha

The Tamil Nadu Government has announced an immediate contribution of a sum of Rs 10 crore from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to the Government of Odisha to carry out relief works in cyclone Fani affected areas. In a statement, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family members of all those who lost their lives in the cyclone and rains.

“The Government of Tamil Nadu stands ready to render any other assistance as may be required by the Government of Odisha,” he added. "On behalf of the State government and the people of Tamil Nadu, I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family members of all those who lost their lives in the cyclone," he said.
