The road ahead for Rajinikanth

As Rajinikanth turns 70 today, he has completed 44 years in cinema and is still the numero uno actor in Indian cinema. His films never fail to do over Rs 100 crore at the box office and he has emerged the highest paid actor in the country. With Darbar set for release this January, he has commenced shoot for his next, to be produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Siruthai Siva.

Ever since Rajinikanth announced that he would enter politics on 31 December, 2017, speculations are rife as to when he would float his party. Speaking to cadres at Rahgavendra Kalyana Mandapam, Rajinikanth on the day said, 'My entry into politics is definitive'.Rajinikanth added, 'This (entry into politics) is the compulsion of time.'

With Assembly elections slated for 2021, it is certain that Rajinikanth will float his party next year. His fans clubs that have been turned as Rajini Makkal Manram has also completed membership enrollment and booth committee members too appointed.  

The 2020 is going to be criticial for us. Rajinikanth has mega plans. he will form his party and we will work towards him becoming the Chief Minister, say his fans.'He will fill the vacuum in Tamilnadu. He is the future. He will create arputham and adhsiayam,' say his fans.
