Various programs have been brought to the public on behalf of the Alayam trust and its founder Sharmila Chandrasekhar in the Coimbatore metropolitan area.
Alayam trust conducts Anemia camps for school children, psychological training camp for tribal womens and women's self help group, food, clothing and educational assistance for orphaned children.Also, through "Operation Green Up" the clean up policy the parks in Vadavalli Vallalar Nagar, Arun Nagar area is being upgraded and maintained.
The cricket tournament will be held on January 10, 11 and 12 on behalf of Alayam Trust. It has been announced that the top team will be awarded with Rs. 50,000 and second and third place teams will receive 25 thousand and 15 thousand rupees respectively.
