The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister appears in CBI court

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to appear before the CBI Special Court in Hyderabad on Friday to face the ongoing trial in the disproportionate assets cases against him.
YSR Congress senior leader V Vijayasai Reddy, Rajya Sabha member is also present in the case. This has resulted in heavy security on the court premises.

Jagan Mohan Reddy filed a petition seeking relief from the prosecution for his workload. The CBI special court judge rejected his request during the hearing on January 3 and ordered him to appear today.

The CBI filed a case against him in 2011, over the allegations of Jagan Mohan Reddy's acquiring of amass more than assets .Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested in May 2012 and released on bail after 4 months.
