It is very well known that both Ajith Kumar and Vijay, who have their fans, indulged in heavy wars during the releases of movies from these matinee idols. However, the cordiality and friendship maintained between these actors remains very much unknown. Vijay’s close friend Sanjay in one of the recent times had mentioned that even before Ajith Kumar became “Thala”, he had personally helped him by getting a photographer do photo shoot for him.
Similarly, it happened few years later that Vijay was shooting for Pokkiri and Sitrarasu, who usually does photo shoot for Ajith Kumar’s movies was signed for this movie as well. During a break, Sitrarasu was casually speaking to Vijay and said that his wife is a good singer. Surprisingly, in not less than few seconds, Vijay asked Prabhu Deva, director of the film, why not give make his wife croon a song for this film. It happened that she was given the chance to sing ‘Maambalamaam Maambalam’ alongside Shankar Mahadevan. This is one good reason, why both these actors are loved unconditionally by zillions.
