Sometimes, it’s strong ‘characters’ that actually drives a film with more engagement and it was very much proved with Vijay Sethupathi’s role in Vikram Vedha. He actually appears nearly 30 minutes after the title credits, but had such a powerful character, where it was critically acclaimed and commercially celebrated as well. So, guessing what could be that connection with Vikram’s role in Kadaram Kondan. In Vikram Vedha, Vijay Sethupathi would be seen as a negative character from beginning and only during the penultimate to climax will get the positive shade.
Similarly, Vikram’s role too would be etched with negative shades from the beginning and will have an unexpected transformation by the end. Scheduled for worldwide release tomorrow (July 19), the film is directed by Rajesh M Selva and is produced by Kamal Haasan for RKFI productions.
