Thandora Breaking - Maniratnam breaks his law for first time for Ponniyin Selvan

Being one of the country’s most celebrated filmmaker, Mani Ratnam’s long run desire of making a Pan-Indian movie becomes a reality now. By now, everyone have started spreading the news that Ponniyin Selvan is being in two different parts at a whopping budget of Rs. 800 Cr. We aren’t sure how far this is true as a film with star-cast comprising of Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Amitabh Bachchan, Atharvaa Murali, Jayaram, Parthiban, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amala Paul and others will make such a business.

However, the success of ‘Baahubali’ has made it all prove that the model will not fail when a project is simultaneously released in multiple languages. The director has now signed a long stretch call sheet with all the actors. More than all, this is the first ever time Mani Ratnam is submitting his full bound script book to the producers. Although, he has collaborated with few production houses, it hadn’t happened, but it occurs with Ponniyin Selvan as Reliance Entertainment is demanding for it. The shooting of Ponniyin Selvan will go on floors from December 2019.
