A section of disgruntled producers in Tamil Film Producers Council have waged a war against their president Vishal. Remember a few of them locked the doors of the producers council office in Chennai. It led to trouble and Vishal was arrested for arguing with police. The locks were finally removed after Vishal knocked the doors of the Madras High Court.
Much recently a meeting of office-bearers of TFPC was convened and the issue was discussed. As a follow up, Vishal ordering issuing notices to S V shekher, A L Azhagappan, Vidiyal Sekar, T Shiva, Babu Ganesh, K Rajan among others. They have been asked an explanation for their acts against the Producers Council. If they fail, strict action would be taken against them. Producers Council meanwhile is planning to hold a mega concert in Chennai in February to honour Isaignani Ilayaraja who turned 75.
