Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said Tamilnadu provides best infrastructure to industries. He said proactive steps taken by his government and its solid support to businesses have attracted huge investments to the State and created job opportunities to many lakhs of people.
Speaking after he inaugurated a radial trye plant of Ceat at Kannanthangal on the outskirts of Chennai, he said, 'Tamilnadu, which is the automobile hub of India, is also home to many top tyre companies. The State produces 40 per cent of tyres manufactured in the country.'
The CM said that quality roads, harbours, uninterrupted power, talented human resources pool, market opportunities, increased auto consumption due to economic growth and infrastructure for goods transportation have made Tamilnadu a much sought after investment destination.
He said that the State Industries department is actively working towards granting faster approvals to industrial proposals and single window system is being implemented in an efficient manner. Tamilnadu is topping the growth index, he said and added that the State leads in parameters such as social development and economic growth etc., and it is the only State which ensures growth for all.
