Actor Rajinikanth along with his wife Lata Rajinikanth offered special prayers to Lord Athi Varadar in Kanchipuram in the wee hours of today. He was accorded a warm welcome. Special prayers were performed for him and his family at Kanchipuram Varadaraja Perumal temple. The actor reached Kanchipuram by midnight and was taken in VVIP queue inside Vasantha Mandapam where the idolof Athi Varadar was kept in Ninra Thirukolam.
Remember a few weeks ago, Latha Rajinikanth visited the temple and offered prayers. Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Darbar. A major portion of the film was canned in Mumbai.Since there are heavy rains in Mumbai, shoot has been cancelled.
