Stalin defends Veeramani's remark on Lord Krishna

Reacting to Dravidar Kazhagam leader K Veeramani's remarks against Lord Krishna, DMK president MK Stalin today said, 'DMK is not an anti-Hindu party. I never stopped my wife from going to temples'. Answering a query on Veeramani's outburst against Lord Krishna, Stalin, said, 'It was done made during our campaign. He chose to do it at Dravidar Kazhagam's event.'

However Stalin maintained that Veeramani did not speak with intention to malign Lord Krishna. He gave some examples. Media and RSS have twisted for false election propoganda. It is not true, but if its true then it is wrong'. He further said that his wife Durga stalin visits temples twice a day and offers prayers. 'I never objected to her going to place of worship'.
