Rupa Gurunath,daughter of former BCCI President is all set to become the first woman President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) at its AGM tomorrow.
As the filing of nominations came to a close on Wednesday evening at 1700 hrs today, Ms Rupa Gurunath, wife of tainted Gurunath Meiyappan, who was banned for life for indulging in spot fixing in the cash rich IPL, was the only nominee filed for the post of President, whoseelection should be announced on the floor of the House as per the norms of TNCA.
Following are the other nominations and the group led by Mr Srinivasan, would be declared elected unopposed as no nominations have been filed challenging them.
