Actress Jahnvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi Boney Kapoor, made her debut in big screen with the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, in which the actress was paired opposite Ishaan Khatter. The film had a decent run at the box office. The actress is gearing up for her next film.
She will be playing the female lead in the sequel of superhit 2008 Hindi film Dostana, which had John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. Actress Priyanka Chopra had also played a crucial role in the film. the film has Kartik Aaryan playing the male lead.
