Lyca Productions made a big impact in Tamil cinema with a slew of biggies bankrolled by them. That includes Kaththi and much-recent mega venture 2.0. The London-based company made anything and everything grand. Sources close to Lyca now say, 'Though they have seen some big success, yet the grand ways of their functioning has put them in a spot of bother. So much so that they have reportedly taking loan on interest (Kandhuvatti) for their day-today operations.
Many say that their head Subashkaran who is in abroad takes very little attention on the affairs happening here. And with no proper head, things have taken a downstride, many say. Lyca is currently busy producing SImbu's Vandha Rajavathan Varuven. Besides they have taken distribution rights of few movies here.
