Six judges of the Supreme Court are infected with H1N1 virus

With six judges of the Supreme Court infected with H1N1, India's Chief Justice S A Bobde Tuesday held a meeting with the judges and suggested vaccinating lawyers and court staff to curb the infection.

The issue came to the fore after Justice D Y Chandrachud told lawyers in his court room that apex court judges were holding a meeting with the CJI to take remedial steps to check H1N1 spread.

Justice Chandrachud said that the meeting had decided to make H1N1 vaccination available to inoculation advocates. Later the CJI also held a meeting with the Supreme Court Bar Association's office bearers to discuss the issue.
