There were rumours that actor Simbu was signed to play a meaty role in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2. But reliable sources say that the makers have settled for Siddharth. To be directed by Shankar, the movie has Kajal Agarwal playing the heroine.
A couple of weeks ago, a section of press carried reports that Simbu is part of the movie. But it is learnt that Siddharth has officially signed the project and will join the sets of the movie next week.
