It was filmmaker and Vijay's dad S A Chandrasekhar who was at the receiving end from Rajinikanth fans after his speech at Kamal Haasan's Ungal Nan event. Though it as an event to celebrate Kamal Haasan's six decades in cinema, SAC spoke politics on the stage.
He said, 'Rajini and Kamal should enter politics together. You should establish your party, come to power, weed out corruption and then when you feel like you've had your fill, make way for your brothers'.
Many said that the brothers that he hinted was his son Vijay. This sparked furore among Kamal and Rajini fans. They said that his speech was needless at the event.
However both Rajini and Kamal did not respond to SAC's words at the event.
