Romantic Tuesday - KB & Paarthale Paravasam : Legends come together

Today is veteran filmmaker K Balachander's birth anniversary. The man with Midas touch introduced many new talents to Tamil cinema. None can forget him for bringing to cinema world Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth, Prakashraj and so on. His movie speak empowerment of women, family values and romance in detail. They carry a message and engage audience. Having made over 100 films besides producing a lot, Balachander is still remembered for speaking straight from his heart in his films.

On his birth anniversary, we in romantic Tuesday will throw light on his 100th directorial - Paarthale Paravasam.The film, produced by Balachander's home banner Kavithalayaa Productions featured Madhavan and Simran in the leading roles, with Lawrence Raghavendra and Sneha playing other key roles. The film's music was composed by A. R. Rahman, whilst A Venkatesh was cinematographer.

Simran and Madhavan fall for each other and gets married. Differences crop up in their life. They get attracted to others. While Madhavan meets Sneha and develops affinity towards her, Simran develops soft corner for Raghavendar Lawrence. Confusion happens. Finally they realise their love and come back to each other. The highlight of the movie was lyrict Vaali playing a comical Malayalee.
