Three Rockets hit near the embassy in the Iraq capital Baghdad's high-security Green Zone early Tuesday, a news agency cited security sources as saying. No casualties have been reported as of now.
Green Zone is in Central Baghdad, where government buildings and diplomatic facilities are located.
The development comes in the wake of escalated tensions in the region following the US killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in Iraq earlier this month.
