Actress Ramya Krishnan, who is currently busy playing the role of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in a web series, has been assigned to be part of a horror comedy film. It would be made in simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. Titled Akasha Ganga 2, it would be helmed by veteran filmmaker Vinayan. Others in the cast include Siddique, Asif ali, Sreenath Bhasi, Vishnu Govind, Vishnu Vinay, Hareesh Kanaran, Salim Kumar, Arathi and Praveena.
Extensive computer graphics would be used for the movie. The film is being shot in Palghat, Pollachi, and Kochi. Popular Bollywood cinematographer Prakash Kutti cranks the camera. The makers have planned to release the movie in September during Onam.
