Floral tributes were paid to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his 28th death anniversary. Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit paid floral tributesto a portrait of Mr Rajiv at Udhagamandalam. The Governor also administered the anti-terrorism pledge to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan through video conferencing.
State Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar paid floral tributes to a portrait of Mr Rajiv to mark the occasion. TNCC President K S Alagiri paid tributes to the portrait of Rajiv at TNCC headquarters Sathiymurthy Bhavan in the city.
