Rajini speaks against Hindi imposition

'Not just Tamilnadu but entire South India will oppose in case if Hindi imposed on them', said actor Rajinikanth today. Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport here, Rajinikanth said, 'A common language is need for development of the nation. Unfortunately it is not possible to have a common language in a country like India. Not just Hindi, no language can be imposed on people. If Hindi is imposed, it will be opposed by Tamils and even those in other southern States'.

Asked about the death of techie who was killed in a road mishap after a banner erected on the median of a road fell on her in Pallikaranai, Rajinikanth said, 'I have already instructed my fans not to erect banners or come up with hoardings or festoons'.
