DMK leader MK Stalin explained that actor Rajinikanth should analyze and take into account the Citizenship Amendment Act before coming to a conclusion.
MK Stalin collected a signed petition from the people of Kovalam against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Later, he met with reporters and said that it is regretful that Rajinikanth did not know about the atrocities and hardships caused by the Citizenship Amendment Act.
He also said that if Rajini had been aware of the consequences, he would have changed his views. But still Stalin didnot give any explanation about the consequences caused by CAA.
He urged that like other state legislatures passed the resolution against the CAA, NRC and NPR, Tamil Nadu should also stand against it as it is unfair to Muslims and Sri Lankan Tamils.
