Tamil Nadu Government has now announced that it has cancelled the Public exams for students of Class 5 and 8. This announcement cancels the public examinations scheduled to take place across the state in March-April.
Tamil Nadu's Minister for School Education KA Sengottaiyan made a statement on Tuesday canceling the previous Government Order. In his statement, the Minister said that the decision to withdraw the Government Order issued on 13 September had been taken after the government had received representations from various stakeholders.
At the request of students and parents, the Government of Tamil Nadu government cancelled.
