Prez Ram Nath Kovind in TN, over 5,000 cops for security duty

President of India Ram Nath Kovind, who visited Chennai recently, will visit Coimbatore today as part of his two-day visit to Tamil Nadu. Kovind will take part in two official programmes namely awarding of President’s Colours to two Indian Air Force units in a ceremonial parade to be held at Air Force Station, Sulur, and the Shivaratri celebrations to be held at Isha Yoga Centre. The largest Mahashivratri event in the world will be celebrated at Isha tonight. The President will visit the Dhyanalinga, the Linga Bhairavi Devi as well as the Suryakund, an energized water body that can enhance one's receptivity, before proceeding to Adiyogi where the Mahashivratri event will unfold.

The President will participate in the Pancha Bhuta Aradhana at the Dhyanalinga, a ritual to cleanse the five elements (earth, fire, water, wind and the limitless space) which can establishthe well-being of the body and the mind and can shape the body to become a stepping stone for one's ultimate well-being. The President of India will join Sadhguru, Founder, Isha Foundation in paying tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama by planting saplings at the Isha Yoga Center.

Isha is celebrating the 25 th  year of Mahashivratri in the presence of Adiyogi, unveiled during the 2017 Mahashivratri celebrations by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 25th  year event is expected to be bigger and grander than ever before with several well-known artistes performing through the night.
