DMDK leader Premalatha Vijayakanth today came down heavily on DMK leader Durai Murugan for his charges against her party over alliance talks. Speaking to reporters in Chennai, she said, "Durai Murugan is blabbering. He is aged. He is known for sleeping. May be because of these factors, he might have blabbered something." She also said Durai Murugan had insulted his party supremo M K Stalin by saying that the latter was sleeping in the afternoon.
Only on Thursday, DMDK deputy secretary L K Sudheesh slammed Durai Murugan for saying that he sent back a DMDK delegation who wanted to team up with DMK instead of the AIADMK because the DMK has no seats left to give. Speaking to reporters in Chennai, he said, "We did not discuss alliance with the DMK yesterday. Durai Murugan is telling lies. Our office-bearers met him for personal reasons."
Stating that Durai Murugan spoke bad about DMK and its leadership to him, the brother-in-law of DMDK supremo Vijayakanth added: "But I will not reveal those things." Sudheesh also said that the talks with the AIADMK and the BJP were completed and announcement on the number of seats and constituencies would be made known in two days.
