Department of Treasuries and Accounts and National Informatics Centre have jointly developed a 'Pensioner’s Portal' for the benefit of Tamilnadu Government Pensioners who have rendered their services in various departments of State Government and retired from State service. This portal was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam at the Secretariat. Several schemes have been implemented by the Finance Department of the State Government through Department of Treasuries and Accounts to cope-up the needs of the Pensioners.
Pensioners and Family Pensioners can access the details of monthly pension credited into their bank accounts, restoration of commuted value of pension, enhanced family pension, pension arrears, etc., through this pensioners’ portal without approaching the concerned Treasury / Pension Pay Office, said a press release. Further, they can download the details of submission of Life Certificate, additional pension entitlement for pensioners aged above 80 years, Annual pension drawn details for Income Tax purpose, Pensioners’ nomination details and deduction made towards Festival Advance, New Health Insurance Scheme and Family Security Fund by entering their Pension Pay Order number.
Besides, Government Orders, Clarifications, Circulars and important forms regarding pensioners and family pensioners are also available in this Pensioner’s Portal. Pensioners could download these forms and submit the concerned Treasury / Pension Pay Office. Approximately 7.30 lakhs pensioners of Tamilnadu Government will be benefited. Pensioners’ Portal could be accessed through https://tnpensioner.tn.gov.in. This function was attended by K Shanmugam, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department and other top officials.
