Oppo announces launch date of Oppo Watch

Oppo announced the launch date of its first smartwatch, Oppo Watch.

The Oppo Watch lookalike from Apple watch and it is set to unveil global on 6 March, 2020 at 10:30 am CET. The Oppo Watch will release along with the much-hyped Oppo Find X2.

Vice President Brian Shen of Chinese smartphone maker had confirmed earlier that the upcoming smartwatch would feature curved 3D glass display. Shen also shared the smartwatch's official image that highlighted its metal frame holding the curved screen. The new teaser now shows that there will be two color options for the smartwatch-black and gold.

It is expected that the smartwatch runs on the Wear OS and supports the call facilities. It can also reject calls via SMS. Two actual buttons can be seen on the right side according to the images shown.

The company also announced that the launch of its products would take place live. Oppo has pinned the tweet on its Twitter to enable a set reminder option to stream the launch live.
