One hurt as Lankan Navy attacks TN fishermen

In yet another incident, about 100 Tamil Nadu fishermen, who were fishing in the sea, were  attacked by Sri Lankan Navy personnel on Sunday morning, resulting in injury to one of them. Reports received here said the fishermen from Rameswaram, were fishing in about 25 mechanised boats near Katchatheevu, when they were attacked by the Lankan Navy for allegedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).

One fisherman, Riyan, sustained injuries in the attack and was admitted to the hospital. Following the attack, the fishermen returned to the shore.
