While there was a huge expectation for the Onam releases in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu, things have turned out to be a disappointment. Following the grand success of Mohanlal’s Lucifer, there was good anticipation for the movie ‘Ittymaani Made in China’, which has opened up to negative reviews. Following this, there was a pretty good expectation for Nivin Pauly-Nayanthara starrer Love Action Drama, which yet again became an average fare and Prithviraj’s Brothers Day is a complete washout.
This is yet another repetition of Onam 2017, where releases like Mohanlal’s Velippinte Pusthakam (Jimikki Kamal song). Mammootty’s movie, Nivin Pauly’s Njandugolade Naattil Oru Idavela and Prithviraj’s Adam Joan were released. Among all these movies, it was only Nivin Pauly’s flick that managed to get some attention much alike Love Action Drama now.
