The prices of potatoes are rising in various cities of India following onion. The price of onions has been selling at a historic high for the past month. Following this, the state and federal governments have taken several steps to curb the price of onions.In this case, the prices of potatoes have started to rise.
At the wholesale market in Delhi's Azadpur, potatoes were sold at Rs 32 a kg and at retail stores at Rs 40 a kg. Similarly, in Kolkata, potatoes were sold at Rs 24 per kg. In Mumbai market, potatoes are selling at Rs 32 per kg, up by Rs 5 per kg.
