Tamil Nadu State Information Minister Kadambur Raju has officially confirmed that there will be no special shows for Diwali releases that includes Vijay’s Bigil and Karthi starrer Kaithi.
Since, both these films are hitting screens on Friday (October 25), which is an ordinary weekday; the Government has imposed strict conditions on not giving permissions to the early morning shows. If any theatres are violating these rules, severe action would be taken apparently.
In addition, he has affirmed that in case of selling tickets at normal rates, there are chances for the Government to reconsider and revise the decisions.
