Actor-politician Rajinikanth met Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam supremo Vijayakanth. The latter had returned from USA after undergoing treatment. Speaking to media after the meet, Rajinikanth, said, 'It was a meet to enquire about Vijayakanth's health. He was the first to visit me when I returned from treatment in Singapore. We did not discuss politics. I already made my stand clear'.
Remember BJP leader Piyush Goyal on Wednesday met Vijayakanth to discuss seat sharing. DMDK, which contested 14 seats in the BJP-led front in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, first demanded seats in 'double digits' from AIADMK. Congress leader Su Thirunavukkarasar on Thursday visited Vijayakanth at his home.
