'New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern is an epitome of liberality'

In his letter addressed to the High Commissioner of New Zealand to India, New Delhi, the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, said the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, has earned glowing praise world over. In a statement, the Prince said, "words cannot fully describe the compassion, social conscience and sincerity that defined Jacinda Ardern's large-hearted response to savage violence unleashed by a white supremacist terrorist in two Christchurch mosques a week aago.

The Prime Minister's swift moves - from calling the massacre a terrorist attack, to displaying genuine sympathy and love for the Muslim community in New Zealand to banning assault rifles and military-style semi-automatic weapons -establish beyond doubt her strong and decisive leadership, which needs to be emulated by every world leader for the sake of international peace and justice."Describing Jacinda Ardern as "an epitome of liberality", the Prince said that "political expediency across the globe must give way to Arden-like statesmanship" if ideologies that promote xenophobia, white supremacism and Islamophobia are to be defeated.

The Prince of Arcot praised the people of New Zealand for putting aside religious differences and standing by their government and expressing their human solidarity with Muslims in this hour of grief.
