National Population Registration Survey work to begins from April 1

The National Population Register is due to start on April 1. In Delhi, the work is to begin with the first citizen of the country, President Ramnath Govind.
 
On that day, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be included in the registry.

The survey is expected to take place from April to September. The Central Government has allocated Rs 3,941.35 crore for this project
