Sivakarthikeyan’s much awaited Namma Veettu Pillai is scheduled for September release. Meanwhile, the makers have started unveiling the tracks one by one and first among them is ‘Yenga Annan’. The film is directed by Pandiraj and is produced by Kalanidhi Maaran for Sun Pictures. The film has an ensemble star-cast Sivakarthikeyan Aishwarya Rajesh Anu Emmanuel Bharathiraja P. Samuthirakani, Soori, Yogi Babu, N.Natraj (Natty) R.K Suresh and few more prominent actors. D Imman is composing music for this film, which has cinematography handled by Nirav Shah.

This type of songs would usually get inclined to a completely ‘Folk’ genre, whereas D Imman has attempted the same, but with some modifications, where we see the rendition of singers slightly in western panache, especially with Sunidhi. Well, for the first time you hear the song, it doesn’t create the same impact as Rajini Murugan or Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam tracks. However, it might get brewed as time advances.
