Music troupe co-owner found dead

Popular Lakshman Sruthi orchestra's co-owner Raman (54) was found dead at his residence in Ashok Nagar last night. Raman's mother and wife  were shocked to find him dead.

It is said that Raman went to his residence at Ashok Nagar from Kamarajar Arangam and had committed suicide. Sources added that Raman was suffering from health issues which might have led him to take the extreme step.  

Lakshman Sruthi was formed by the brothers V Lakshmanan and V Raman in the year 1987. The brothers have performed over 10,000 shows worldwide with their troupe including a world record of performing for orchestration non-stop for 36 hours. Apart from their orchestra they are also famous for their musical instruments store - Lakshman Sruthi Musicals. Raman is survived by his mother, wife, son, three brothers and one sister.
