Top industrialist and Reliance Industries Ltd chief Mukesh Ambani on Monday called on Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M K Stalin at his residence in Chennai. During the brief meeting, Ambani, who was accompanied by his wife Nita Ambani, extended his invitation to Stalin for his son Akash's wedding, a release from the DMK said. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta are set to tie the knot next month. Earlier, Nita and Mukesh Ambani along with their younger son Anant Ambani visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, offered their prayers and presented the first invitation card of their elder son Akash Ambani’s wedding with Shloka Mehta.
Shloka Mehta is the youngest of three children of diamantaire Russell Mehta and his wife Mona Mehta. Mukesh and his younger son Anant were spotted outside the temple, wearing half-sleeved white shirt and black pants. They were accompanied by Nita, dressed in a red and golden kutra coupled with matching Palazzo pants. A video of the trio presenting the grand wedding card to the temple priest who performs the rituals on the card while the holy verses are chanted also surfaced.
The devotees and the others gathered at the venue were seen clicking photographs and recording videos of one of the most famous families in the country.
